The 5.11 Taclite TDU Pants are the new standard and replacement of the old style BDU. Made of tough, polyester/cotton ripstop, the 5.11 Taclite TDU Pants stands up to the rigors of patrol and special operations. Known for superior comfort, functionality and fit, the Taclite TDU Pants features a self-adjusting comfort waistband that helps you bend and stretch with ease. For best results, pair the 5.11 Taclite TDU Pants with the 5.11 TDU Ripstop Shirt in short or long sleeve. The front pockets of our Taclite TDU Pants are strong and roomy; the large side pockets are designed with an added inside pocket containing a divider allowing each side to hold two AR mags securely. Each pocket is lined with the Back-Up Belt System loop-sided carrier which allows the attachment of Back-Up Belt System pouches. Two rear pockets round out the storage needs of almost any duty assignment. The 5.11 Taclite TDU Pants utilizes 65%polyester/35% cotton ripstop material which resist tearing and abrasion. The Taclite TDU pants are triple-stitched and bartacked in all stress areas. We use only genuine, locking-flange YKK zippers and quality PRYM snaps which stay zipped and snapped even under the most strenuous activities. Review: My new favorite pants. - I'm not military or law enforcement, but I appreciate the aesthetic. These pants are meant to be bloused and come with ties built in, initially that threw me off. After watching a few youtube tutorials I was able to blouse the pants properly which results in a very clean professional look. My initial reaction was to admire the craftsmanship of the pants. It's obvious a lot of thought went into the design and manufacture. Expandable waist, reinforced stitching, pockets for days. Seriously, every pocket has multiple pockets and I'm pretty sure those pockets have pockets. Everything that I put in there; knife, padlock, labels, flashlight, markers, etc, finds it's way into a interdimensional pocket where it is organized and secure. I never have to fish around looking for things. It's really quite amazing. I bought the pants for work, the fabric stays cool(temperature wise), looks cool, repels all the nasties I come into contact with. Crawling around on the ground, working on my knees. The pants brush right off and look like they just came out of the laundry. Nothing but good things to say. Wish I was law enforcement so I'd have a reason to buy the expensive Class A uniform pant. Initially discovered the 5.11 brand with one of their non-metallic adjustable belts. Which I love and own several of.

These TDU pants are perfect for just about any activity. I wear them to the range, hiking in cool weather, working in the shop, and camping. The seams are all incredibly strong and the pants flex wonderfully while on strenuous hikes. They breath pretty well, especially for being such a rugged heavy material. The ties inside each pant leg keep the pants snug against my boots without looking tacky... in fact they aren't noticeable at all. Belt loops are wide enough for a duty belt and the waistline is very heavy duty. This comes in handy for occasional winter hikes when I wear suspenders. The cargo pockets are deep and reliable! I can throw gloves and a hat in one pocket without it being too bulky, and never worry about the flap coming undone or losing them. The reinforced knees come in handy while camping, and is a must for those doing bushcraft or any sort of tactical training. Long story short, these are awesome pants. 5.11 quality, USGI patterns, in sizing only a veteran will understand. I always liked the fit of my BDU’s, for the most part, but always wished the legs were a tad slimmer. These are pretty much that: USGI familiarity with 5.11 fit and finish. Lots of pockets to store all of my narcan and tear gas, since Amazon and Microsoft won’t clean up after themselves.
