I found the construction of this shelf and the choice of hardware to be fine, despite complaints in various reviews to the contrary. It’s a much better than average wall shelf with nice size, though some of the product page pictures make it look larger than it is.The pictures don’t show how attractive it is at all. This is a really nice-looking wall shelf and a nice change from the zillions of them made with a flat wood base and sometimes decorative brackets. Also, I wondered about the quality before I received it; some of the pictures made it look more like cheap plastic than real pine with a rattan back. In person it is clearly pine and rattanI looked for the maximum weight it could hold, but could not find it. However, it will hold quite a bit if it is assembled with care and mounted on a wall that won’t rip apart as soon as you put a few things on the shelf. Definitely recommend.

I honestly was unpleasantly shocked at the quality of these shelves. I ordered two of them, they arrived in their own boxes and both of them were broken in different places. If I’m going to be paying nearly $100 for two shelves I expect the quality and quality control to be far beyond what I received. I am returning and will not be repurchasing.

Very easy to put together. The only thing that was difficult was hanging it on the wall. We put it in the bathroom and it looks great.

The wood and cane are good quality and overall this shelf is really quite beautiful. Right out of the box I would have given this five stars, however when putting it together that changed. It did come with all the hardware needed which is good but the construction was a bit disappointing.When I first attached the bottom piece to the back piece it wobbled no matter how tight I made the screws. I figured that issue would be fixed when I attached the side pieces and though I was correct and that did fix the wobble there were more issues I ran into. Not a single piece lined up perfectly making gaps in the final product as shown in the pictures. The worst part for me was that one of the screws didn't fit into not-so-well-placed countersink... So out of all the screws that did fit inside their countersinks, one did not and sat on top. That is going to bother me more than it should.Again, overall this is a very pretty shelf and I will definitely still use it, just a bummer about the construction.

This shelf is super cute but worth the screws they provided I cannot get it to stay put together. The screws provided are too short to keep it connected. Going to get some brew screws then I'll be satisfied with it.
