A: Thanks for your question. The RF4500 is fibreglass toecap and composite midsole. It has a waterproof bootie membrane which makes them waterproof.

**Q: Hi, I was wondering what kind of leather these boots are made from please? Specifically; is it animal-derived, or pvc/microfibre etc? thanks**
A: There is some (LWG certified) leather, the rest is man made so if you want strictly vegan, they're not suitable. They are amazingly good boots though and very comfortable to be so hard-wearing.

Strong, waterproof and very warm. Good fit and once you have set up the laces they are easy to slip on n off. All in all a good pair of boots.
