A: The blades are 3 3/4 inches

**Q: Can it cut through cardboard with ease?**
A: It is sharp enough to cut through cardboard but it is awfully light duty to do much of that....

**Q: How rigid are the handles? If you wrap your hand around the outside of both handles and squeeze, will the handles flex or not?**
A: The handles are rigid but have a smooth exterior. The scissor blades are coated with a nonstick surface making them great to use on trimming stickers/decals
