I haven't run mine for long enough on batteries to give you an answer. I think 10 hours at a 10 mamp/hr draw is a good guess. It includes a wall adapter, but can also run for several hours off a 9 Volt battery. It also seems like it's fairly durable, so if you drop it or step on it, it will likely survive. The main downside of this unit when compared to others is that it's larger than some others and only offers power for one mic, where others of the same size can power two.
