Does a great job plugging pipe for water test. You may have to use a screwdriver or large pliers to keep base from turning while tightening nut with another set if pliers.

I bought this plug to replace the one I got at Home Depot. This plug has a much deeper rubber surface, which allowed it to make a fully water-tight seal even in our rough drain pipe. The one from Home Depot only had a little bit of rubber, so it wasn't deep enough to make a good deal and the water leaked out over a few hours.This one is way better!
