Best way to get an old PC back to life
If your old Dell or similar PC fails to boot and its old then check the logic and count the beeps or lights and there is a strong chance the little battery is toast. If so just open the case and very carefully locate and remove the battery. These are usually located on the mother board and hidden in plain site. Note the way the battery is housed. Take a shot on your iPhone for safety. Read the part number and then order one of these. Replace and Windows may well grind back into life. Leave for another 10 years.Note. My fit other devices as well.

I checked inside my computer before ordering the battery. As I have two computers on the go I checked inside the second one as well. Both use the same type of battery. So I ordered two. They both arrived on time and I fitted the defective computer with one of the new batteries, all was well and I was soon up and running again. Strange the second computer started acting up a couple of days later so I used the second battery on the second computer. Once again everything is running ok.

Worked fine
I had to get this battery as the dreaded message came on: "Low Battery Alert!"So after humming and ahing for a while I sent off for the battery and replaced it.Make sure the cross on the battery - + for positive is facing upwards.I replaced the dead battery on the PC circuit board and it's fine so far.

Always use a branded product.
I had tried using a standard battery - shop bought but it wouldnt work.This did no problem.Quickly delivered - important bcause you dont want the PC to go without its CMOS battery for too long!

The fact i paid 2 pound and i had it earlier then expected....royal male gave me letters and it was there amazed very highly recommend this company welldone will use again

this is a standard 2032 - rip off
There is nothing special about this battery, it is a standard CR2032, which can be bought much cheaper elsewhere.It is not specific for the Dell.
