My husband uses it for his wood carving supplies. It can be used for a First Aid kit, craft storage supplies, you can even use it to keep emergency supplies together in one spot at home or in the car etc. It comes with a removable solid bottom which we used to stand up in the middle to separate our tools, as shown in picture. Each side pouch expands 2 inches. It is durable the zippers are of good quality with zipper pulls attached.
