Review: Very Important tool! - If you are a caregiver living with someone who is capable of calling for help then this is an amazing tool. I'm definitely going to be using this long-term. My house is configured in a way that it's hard to hear people from other rooms and since the Alexa wasn't always working this call Bell is absolutely great. Works from quite a distance and it definitely wakes me up to help me help my dad. I can't speak to the battery life, but the connectivity and range are really great and you actually have a choice of ringtones which is kind of funny that I chose just the doorbell sound and it doesn't ring on and on forever it just rings three times and then if they press it again, it rings again so it's not obnoxious

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Can my husband wear the transmitter in the shower? Can he let it get wet?**
A: I would suggest adding the wall mount pull station next to the tub / toilet. Just outside the tub so it won't get wet but within reach should it be needed. They are like what you find in hospital bathrooms with the pull string and button. I got these for beside the bed and in the bathroom along with the button set. They all work together just fine. It won't let me link to them. Get 2 pull stations for like $25

**Q: Can the three buttons be set to the same ring tone and not have any of them default to the ding dong that is too much like the doorbell in the house?**
A: Each button can be set to any of the tones you want. The trick is select the tone you want FIRST then pair the button. Do this for each pairing and you can have them all the same or all different. If you don't select a tone first, it will default to ding dong and you will have to do it again.

**Q: can this be used while taking a shower?**
A: The Red & White 'Call Button' (Transmitter) is battery powered and could be located within, or immediately next to, the actual enclosure. HOWEVER, select a location where it would not be exposed to water or water vapor (Steam).
Mine is located on the outer wall of the walk-in bath/shower, within arms reach of the commode, and low enough to be reached from the floor.  I've had the system for eleven months or so, used it multiple times following surgery, and the battery is still strong.
The receiver (Square Box) plugs into a standard 110v outlet - Just be sure the outlet you choose is NOT controlled by a switch.
Well worth the cost!

**Q: Can i set it up so that all the buttons ring all the receivers at once?**
A: Yes, you can. You have to go to each individual receiver with all the call buttons for programming.  Follow the directions included with the receiver.

Perfect solution for live-in caregivers. How it helped in my situation: I wear hearing aids but not to sleep. I was worried that my elderly father would fall during the night and I would not hear him. This works out so well he wears it day and night. The receiver is by my bed, so no problem hearing it ever. During the day, I can hear it throughout the house with ease. Of course, he does use it for non-emergency service sometimes when he needs something, which is fine as long as you set boundaries beforehand. The only downside is that if the electricity goes out, it rings when the power comes back on. I would rather answer a false alarm once in awhile than miss something important, though. All-in-all, a great product that is easy to use, works like it should, and easy on the wallet.
