It does have a SMALL logo on either end of the plain box and in very small letters it says air filtration system but aside from that no big deal. I still opted for the desertcart box because I don’t want people getting the wrong idea. Now on to the actual product itself. Quality is top notch as always. Yea you can hear the fan on the highest settings but on 6 and below it’s very VERY quiet for the amount of air this unit moves. You’re really getting some high quality equipment here. Now onto the app. So far I’m very pleased with it. I grow sarracenia and I start thousands of seedlings in a grow tent for about a year before they go outside for their first dormancy. While a carbon filter isn’t really necessary for these plants, an exhaust fan is because they naturally like lots of light. The grow light I’m using doesn’t generate a ton of heat but on a warm day the temps can rise past 80 and I prefer to keep my plants in the mid to high 70’s. This fan and controller have allowed me to keep my climate within precise parameters from ANYWHERE. I love being able to monitor my tent while I’m at work. It definitely offers peace of mind. Well worth the money spent! If I were to purchase the inline exhaust fan, controller and other extras seperate it would definitely add up to more than this whole kit. The way I see it the carbon filter is a nice extra. Like I said I don’t need to get rid of any smells but I set it up to filter incoming air when the exhaust fan comes on when the temp rises above 80F Ac infinity always impresses me with their quality and attention to detail. I opted for the speed controller bundle instead of the wifi controller and i regret not going with the better one.
