From bottom of the broom to top of handle is 53". **Q: Does the handle have a loop or opening so that the broom can be hung?** A: Yes. There is a large opening in a black plastic "cap" over the top of the handle to allow for hanging. **Q: Are the bristles soft or stiff?** A: The bristles are soft- I love it! **Q: I work in MRI department. does the broom have any metal in it on handle or anyware** A: There is no reason that a broom should be left inside a regulatory approved MRI scanning room while the MRI is being used. Storing a BROOM inside an MRI scanning room is unsanitary, and most certainly would not comply with “clean room” protocols expected in rooms where MRI’s are used. I would expect, or at least hope, that any personnel working anywhere near an MRI would have at least the very basic understanding that the presence of metal is only of concern while a scan is being performed. It would also be entirely improper for “housecleaning” to be conducted at the same time a scan is occurring, not only for the safety of the patient, but also for any person who might be doing the cleaning. Obviously, if the MRI is not actively conducting a scan, the presence of any type of metal is of no consequence. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Actually sweeps up the dust.. *by on Reviewed in the United States September 5, 2026* Buy it. I researched a lot and found this broom to be the best option at this price point. We live in the desert and the dust is insane. This broom handles it. The quality bristles and the perfectly large head make it sturdy without being heavy or hard to handle. Doesn’t seem like it’s gonna slowly come apart over time. I’ll certainly update if it does, but so far so good. I wasn’t sure about the red, but I love it. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Nice *by on Reviewed in the United States September 24, 2026* Good product for the price. The handle is metal and screws together easily. Would also be easy to store since it does come apart ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Wish it came in bright yellow *by on Reviewed in the United States September 5, 2026* Glad I spent the extra money on a quality broom. The broom as a whole is good all around. Right size, good weight, love the color, bristles are a good length. It's what or how the bristles are made because they stay near and appear clean longer than other brooms I've tried. Went the bristles stay tight/together you get a even clean sweep and don't have to go over the same area 3,4 or 5 times. You don't have to.wash it off after use. The dustpan is also quality shape and weight and last. It cost more than a lot of in store brooms but you'll work less and will not be replacing it in 6months. ## Frequently Bought Together - O-Cedar One Sweep Broom with Step-On Dustpan | Remove 99% with One Sweep | Lightweight Quiet Cleaning Tool | Ideal for Pet Owners - Clorox Toilet Bowl Cleaner, Clinging Bleach Gel, Ocean Mist - 24 Ounces, Pack of 2 --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co.ke/products/540613777-o-cedar-one-sweep-broom-and-step-on-dustpan-set](https://www.desertcart.co.ke/products/540613777-o-cedar-one-sweep-broom-and-step-on-dustpan-set) --- *Product available on Desertcart Kenya* *Store origin: KE* *Last updated: 2026-10-17*
