Or any different from any other sharpener (as I did) but honestly, this is the best pencil sharpener I’ve ever used! I’m an artist, I’ve used many many over the years, and this one is hands above any of the others! It sharpens into that ‘brand new point’, every time, old pencils are brand new again with that particular angled point. I’m excited to sharpen pencils now! Yes I’m obviously getting old when such a thing brings joy, lol, but what can I say, new sharp pencils are a delight to any artist!It was a tad difficult to get out at first, to empty, but once you’ve done it once then it’s easier thereafter. I found that placing it flat on the table and then pulling from both sides is easier (see photo for reference).Personally, I would not pay full price for it, but it is good value when discounted.
