I can place it any where and haven't had any problems with it ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Works with Mevo Start *by K***N on Reviewed in the United States on September 8, 2021* Many reviews complained that the top of the stand was not compatible with their mevo start (see 1st picture). I decided to purchase it and return it if that was the case. I will agree that the top screw to mount the camera to the stand is different then what came on my mevo start counter top stands. All I did was unscrew the nut that was screwed into the bottom of my mevo start- (See my 2nd picture with me holding my camera) It shows that the nut is actually meant to be unscrewed with a screwdriver. After I removed the nut, with a regular screwdriver (see 3rd picture). I could put the camera on the top of the stand and screw the camera on by twisting it (see 4th picture). It is attached perfectly (see 5th picture). I feel bad for those people who didn't think to unscrew the nut.
