This bladder worked great and was leak-free. It's easy to clean. I just used soap and water. No weird taste, just plain water could be tasted. The mouth piece was easy to use. I even had my dslr Nikkon camera in my bag with the bladder! This is pricey compared to other bladders but to me it is worth the money for a leak-free, no bad taste water bladder. Totally recommend for your hiking adventures! Review: Perfect hydration bladder replacement - I’m very happy with the HydraPak Contour water bladder. I love the quick release detachable hose and the handle slides on like a dream compared to my previous bladder. There is also a handle to make it easier for filling. **Q: Will this work with a Dakine Hot Laps 5L pack with 2L lumbar hydration pack inside?** A: The 2L vertical reservoir will not work with the Dakine Hot Laps 5L pack. It will only accomodate a lumbar reservoir which only comes in the 1.5L size. **Q: dose this fit for Dakine Hot Laps 5L Fanny Pack** A: You will need to measure your Dakine Hot Laps hip pack and be sure the 1.5 contour can fit. This is the measurements: 8.8 in x 11.1 in The vertical reservoirs are not compatible. **Q: Is the contour one designed to be worn around your lower back? Do either of these keep water cold?** A: This reservoir is designed to be used in a lumbar pack. To keep your water colder longer you can put some water (about 1/5) in the reservoir and leave in the freezer overnight. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Leak Free *by M***O on July 25, 2024* After lots of research I finally settled on this water bladder for my hikes out in Utah. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perfect hydration bladder replacement *by C***T on August 16, 2026* I’m very happy with the HydraPak Contour water bladder. I love the quick release detachable hose and the handle slides on like a dream compared to my previous bladder. I’ve used it a few times already and have had no issues with it. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent reservoir that integrated great with my hunting pack *by J***E on October 11, 2025* I used this hydrapak reservoir for my hunting trip to Wyoming. It fit perfectly in my hunting pack. The capacity was just right for a full day of water. The bite valve doesn’t leak at all. It had an odd taste when drinking water from it initially, but that subsided after drinking one full reservoir and refilling. The reservoir seems very durable and was very easy to use in my new mystery ranch metcalf 75 pack. I also appreciate that you could lock the valve shut to prevent any leaking. ## Frequently Bought Together - HydraPak Water Reservoir (1.5L, 2L, 3L) - Hydration Bladder Fits Most Backpacks – High-Flow Bite Valve, Leak Proof, Fully Reversible, and Dishwasher Safe - HydraPak Comet Bite Valve - Osprey Hydraulics Hose Magnet Kit --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co.ke/products/525183621-contour-hydration-reservoir-2l-and-3l](https://www.desertcart.co.ke/products/525183621-contour-hydration-reservoir-2l-and-3l) --- *Product available on Desertcart Kenya* *Store origin: KE* *Last updated: 2026-10-16*
