I really like that there are no seams, just one piece of stamped carbon steel for the bottom, and another for the lid. The steel is sturdy and plenty thick to be durable. Everything is steel, the handle, latches, all of it. The latches open and close easily while still being tight enough to keep the lid from rattling when it's closed, and are sturdy enough to hold a lot of weight. I am not worried about it falling open while carrying it loaded with tools.
