After comparing several different ice packs, I went with this one, and I'm really happy with the purchase.The material feels high quality, and the cold retention is impressive. Even after being on my foot for over 20 minutes, it's still frigid to the touch. Coverage is excellent too, it wraps completely around my heel and ankle and reaches the base of the Achilles tendon, extending up to about the middle of my foot, which is exactly where I needed relief. It fits securely so you don't have to worry about it slipping off or loosening up over time. The straps are sturdy and the velcro is strong. The actual material is not uncomfortable either, even when it is strapped oh really right. It is easy to mold around your ankle, the material is sturdy but flexible. No leaking either, it would take a lot of effort to penetrate the material.One important note: pay attention to the 20 minute limit and wear socks when you first take it out of the freezer. This thing gets colder than any ice pack I've used before, and I can see how it could cause skin damage if used directly on bare skin or left on too long.
