However, the pictures show it separate..????** A: The spout easily snaps on to the base. I don't recall if it was attached when I received it but I have taken it off for cleaning and reattached. **Q: Having problem attaching water outlet. Any advice?** A: It took me a while to figure out how to attach the water outlet. I finally put the drain mat on a folded towel so it was on a solid but not hard surface and then snapped the water outlet on. I really like the drainage funnel which takes the excess water directly into the sink thus keeping the drainer part of the sink dry and clean. The dish drainer stands on 4 srurdy plastic legs, silicone covers are provided to fit onto those legs which keep the drainer in place stopping it from sliding round and damaging the drainer on the sink. It arrived before estimated delivery date and was well packaged. The only negative I have is it's on the small size. It couldn't hold all the dinner plates, drinking glasses or pans all in one go for 2 people unlike my old drainer did.
