My dog (vizsla) needs to wear a muzzle in the car,so she doesn't est it, and this one has a large nose opening and fits her face well compared to others. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great muzzle just a couple things to know *by T***Y on February 13, 2023* I used my XL sized muzzle for my 100lbs pit bull . Fit great except I had to make adjustments to add more strength to the muzzles straps. My dog would just pull hard enough to loosen the straps . the plastic buckles have no anchors so they just slip loose with a little tug .🙄so just Fit to your dog . then get some heavy duty strength string and thread the center skull strap as well as the neck strap. This will ensure they will not slip. Not too tight though . 3 finger rule for neck strap 2 finger rule for the center skull strap( this will ensure they don't pull over the nose and stays snug and comfy ) don't be discouraged. dogs don't like their mouth closed muzzle for just 20 minutes. Set a timer. Perfect for barking deterrent. Great for nervous doggies with social insecurities . Always always always when putting on the muzzle give love and let them know it's ok each time you put it on . They may not at first like it but after a while they accept it because it's not scary and they understand what your asking. Great trust building exercise. My pit bull will come and sit when he's in trouble now for barking and accepts his muzzle .
