Durable tin case keeps everything organized and secure for school or home. Review: Excellent buy for secondary school - Fantastic maths set bought for my son for secondary school. Easy to use, texturised grip, good quality items, nice colour combo (silver, blue and clear) Review: An essential for the start of a new school year - A protractor, compasses, set square, ruler, rubber and pencil sharpener are absolutes needed for UK maths from year 7. I got this set because it has all the requirements in a metal tin at a good price. Last year we got a plastic case set - and that cracked in a few weeks; also the compasses were flimsy --- this set is about £1 more costly than the cheapest sets on desertcart but I reckon the extra was worth it. The tin stays shut, the ruler lines up perfectly with our metal rule at home and the compasses hold a pencil without coming loose. Delivery was quick. OVERALL - I like this - and would be happy to get it again. ## Features - Contains all instruments children need for their maths lesson - Lid with safety lock to avoid accidental opening - Includes sharpener, eraser, pencil, compass, ruler and protractor - All supplied in a sturdy tin ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B00LVYGE68 | | Best Sellers Rank | 14,811 in Stationery & Office Supplies ( See Top 100 in Stationery & Office Supplies ) 21 in Geometry Sets | | Brand | STAEDTLER | | Colour | Blue/White | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 4.6 out of 5 stars (3,829) | | Date First Available | 14 Jun. 2014 | | Item Weight | 1.91 g | | Model Number | 557 10 | | Product Dimensions | 20 x 8 x 2 cm; 1.91 g | ## Images ![STAEDTLER 557 Maths Geometry Set – 10 Piece, Metal Case - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81djp28v0dL.jpg) ![STAEDTLER 557 Maths Geometry Set – 10 Piece, Metal Case - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71Y+AjkurTL.jpg) ![STAEDTLER 557 Maths Geometry Set – 10 Piece, Metal Case - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71vLw6+Td8L.jpg) ![STAEDTLER 557 Maths Geometry Set – 10 Piece, Metal Case - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71PgVOikDDL.jpg) ![STAEDTLER 557 Maths Geometry Set – 10 Piece, Metal Case - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61CYn3PhqwL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Item Package Quantity, Style** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: does it come with tracing paper** A: No. It doesn't. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent buy for secondary school *by R***A on 4 October 2026* Fantastic maths set bought for my son for secondary school. It includes all the essentials — compass, ruler, protractor, set squares, sharpener, eraser and pencil — all neatly packed in a sturdy metal tin. The layout keeps everything organised, and the tin is slim enough to fit easily into a school bag. The quality is exactly what you’d expect from Staedtler. The compass is sturdy and holds the pencil firmly, the ruler and protractor markings are clear and easy to read, and the pencil sharpens well without snapping. It’s ideal for maths lessons, geometry work, exams or homework. What makes this set especially useful is how durable it feels. Nothing rattles around, the tin closes securely, and the tools don’t bend or break like cheaper sets often do. It’s a reliable choice for both primary and secondary students. If you want a well‑made, complete and long‑lasting maths set, this one is excellent — practical, tidy and great value for money. ## Frequently Bought Together - Staedtler 557 10 Noris Club Mathematical Set - Staedtler Double Hole Pencil Sharpener, Two Holes for Standard Pencils, Large Colored Pencils, and Makeup Pencils, 512 001 BK --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co.ke/products/49303418-staedtler-557-maths-geometry-set-10-piece-metal-case](https://www.desertcart.co.ke/products/49303418-staedtler-557-maths-geometry-set-10-piece-metal-case) --- *Product available on Desertcart Kenya* *Store origin: KE* *Last updated: 2026-10-31*
