If you are into hot rodding your guitars, or like me, are on a budget and have to buy some lower end stuff and used stuff. I started out buying a really cheap guitar to haul to work to practice on my breaks and lunches etc. Then I set it up and did some fret work on it etc. and fell in love with it. I wasn't crazy about the cheap plastid nut, so i put a tusq xl nut in it and they threw the string trees at me as an add on. I said ok and added them to the cart. I know that they have made an awesome improvement as i put them on before changing the nut. They seriously richened up the tone and sustain for miles. After installing the XL nut (Make sure you read the descriptions on your string trees and nuts as the XL's are self-lubricating for life, the non Xl's are not). I find the non XL's come up a lot more frequently when searching for a good deal and they are ok, just not self lubricating. To finish it off, it I lube up the nuts and trees with some Super Vee Super Glide (look it up and buy some!!!!) What started out as a $65 guitar is now one of my favorites to play, and all the other ones now have tusq XL string trees,....the Tele, The Strat, The Lead I, etc. etc. Review: Nice upgrade - I replaced the stock string trees on my fender Strat with these because I saw a review on them on YouTube. They work great, they look good and I’m satisfied. ## Features - BLACKTUSQXL - Guitar Accessories - STRINGTREE - Black ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0051SJ5PM | | Best Sellers Rank | #12,710 in Musical Instruments ( See Top 100 in Musical Instruments ) #295 in Guitar Tools | | Brand | Graph Tech | | Color | Black | | Customer Reviews | 4.8 out of 5 stars 1,099 Reviews | | Drive System | Phillips | | Exterior Finish | Chrome | | Fastener Type | Wood Screws, Chrome Screws | | Finish Types | Shiny | | Head Style | Phillips | | Head Type | Phillips | | Item Dimensions | 3.54 x 3.54 x 3.54 inches | | Item Type Name | Guitar Top Nut | | Item dimensions L x W x H | 3.54 x 3.54 x 3.54 inches | | Manufacturer | GRAPHTECH | | Material | Black TUSQ XL | | Material Type | Black TUSQ XL | | Metal Type | Legierter Stahl | | Model | PT-7004-00 | | Number Of Items | 1 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Number of Pieces | 5 | | Part Number | PT-7004-00 | | Screw Head Style | Phillips | | Set Name | Black TUSQ XL Sleek Trees & Chrome Screws (2 each) | | UPC | 702725103928 | | Unit Count | 4 Count | | Warranty Description | 1 year Manufacturer | ## Product Details - **Exterior Finish:** Chrome - **Head Style:** Phillips - **Item dimensions L x W x H:** 3.54 x 3.54 x 3.54 inches - **Material:** Black TUSQ XL - **Metal Type:** Legierter Stahl ## Images ![TUSQ XL by Graph Tech PT-7004-00 String Tree for Fender/Strat Guitar, Black - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51vCL0OTKwL.jpg) ![TUSQ XL by Graph Tech PT-7004-00 String Tree for Fender/Strat Guitar, Black - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51El-XKAwhL.jpg) ![TUSQ XL by Graph Tech PT-7004-00 String Tree for Fender/Strat Guitar, Black - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51LaCFb-iRL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I love these things and now all of my guitars have them *by K***K on June 20, 2020* How can you not love these things.
