If you're console is horizontal on an open shelf and you just want to boost it's chances of staying a little bit cooler, then a Kiwihome fan is the best option. I initially bought the Fastsnail fan to go with with the pro, and whilst no doubt that fan does its job, it is unacceptably noisy, and also made odd moaning sounds, and I started to worry if it was actually the console itself making the noises... anyway I quickly decided to switch to the Kiwihome one instead and it's 100% better. Unobtrusive noise, same level of cooling, better looking, better packaging, just better product all round. Easier to fit too. I have it on setting 1 which is constant low. I think 2 (auto) might spin up fast too often, which would be a bit too loud.
