I fixed the adhesive tape to the window frame and then attached the 'velcro' style tape and net. The net fits around the lower window catch and when I want to close the window I just undo enough to reach the handle. It is by far the best fly screen system that I have used - really effective. **Q: Would this be suitable for windows that open inwards?** A: Yes and no. It's primarily designed for windows which open outward. You could, I suppose, attach one side to the frame and then one to the window, although a lot of material would hang until the window was open **Q: How much material is in tje box is one set just for 1 window or for more than 1 window and you can open it during the day ans close in the evenings ?** A: It is enough for one window but the problem is you have to keep attaching it to the Velcro when you want it up or to open the window. It is attached at 3 sides. The sides and bottom and because I have sash windows that you lift up I have to tuck the top bit in to the handles on the window to prevent any insect coming in. It is good as the insects can't come in but because of the type of windows I have the moths, etc can fly in between the top and bottom window to get in unless I see them first and spray them. It's still good but I need to find something that is suitable for the wooden sash windows I have. But I cannot complain with what I bought. It just a continuos ritual of attaching part of the sides and tucking in the top part every evening. **Q: Can people see through the netting?** A: Yes you can see through the net. It definitely keeps out moths etc but does get in the way of opening and closing the window. Depends how your window is. Worth buying though ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good product, easy install *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 27 June 2026* Straight forward to install (this comes from a person who usually struggles with assembly, DIY etc) and does the job nicely. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very good *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 30 September 2017* Does the job, really easy to install. A bit overpriced though. Still, I am happy with this purchase. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Does its job nicely, bit overpriced *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 30 September 2014* Its really ok. Me as other reviewers found it a bit on the expensive side for the actual amount of material in the box. But it is so cool to not have about 10 flies daily in my appartement and definitely beats killing them. I ordered a second one of these and can only recommand this.Only thing with me is I can open and close my windows without having to take this off all the time, so it might come off if you remove it from the velcro once a day. You might attach it then with nails?Pros:- Easy to install- Good instructions included- Works well, no insects in the appartment- I find black much better than the usual white, gray stuff. From outside you cannot see much inside which works well as the windows you put this on are often open usually- All necessary material includedCons:- Personally, I find it overpriced. I'm sure they produce this for much less than they sell it for and get an amazing margin out of this. Just a bit unfair for the consumer.- I do not take if off often as I have a sash window and can close and open it without removing it. So if you take it off often and put it on again, it might have to replaced after some time - again, this is not so much of a problem would it not be for the price tag... ## Frequently Bought Together - tesa UK 55033-00021-00 Insect Stop Hook and Loop Open/Close, Easy-On and Easy-Off Insect Screen For windows 1.30 x 1.5 m - Anthracite - tesa Insect Stop Hook & Loop STANDARD for Windows - Self Adhesive Window Fly Screen - Cut to Desired Size - in Anthracite, 100 cm x 100 cm - EASYmaxx Fly Screen for Windows with Magic Click | Mosquito net can be Individually Cut to Size for All Windows up to 150x130 cm | Easy Installation with 12 Magnets - no Drilling or screwing [Black] --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co.ke/products/48593149-tesa-insect-stop-hook-and-loop-screen-open-close-premium](https://www.desertcart.co.ke/products/48593149-tesa-insect-stop-hook-and-loop-screen-open-close-premium) --- *Product available on Desertcart Kenya* *Store origin: KE* *Last updated: 2026-10-11*
