Yes, it needs an XLR interface, but you can find affordable options on Amazon (and the Elgato XLR is always an option). Because it’s XLR, the quality is crazy good. Very clear, great levels, manageable range, easy to use with OBS and other software, and a great price. It’s not top-tier Shure or Sennheiser quality, but the sound quality is phenomonal for the price you spend. If you’re using a boom arm, the weight is good, not heavy (though if you use a “cheap” arm, you may have an issue). The mic is also a good size, not big and uses its space very effectively.
