Rowlinson Plastic Utility Cabinet - Green and White

Well packed arrived on time very simple to assemble by one person. Shelf supports could be a little stronger, but we have had no problem with them. It fits well into the garden is not unsightly colours match well. Overall good value for money.

there are many similar products on the market but the design of this one is better than most. assembly instructions OK with the names/letters repeated on the actual parts to make it easier. Quite sturdy as well. Only let down was the quality of the plastic mouldings. One handle had a defect as did one panel. Not really a problem and does not affect use of what is outdoor storage after all, but you can see the defects. I strengthened the handle with a glue product just to be safe as the defect was on the a thin part. [I had product delivered overseas so return wwas not really an option] don't be put off.. very useful and a decent size .can put a pad lock on it.

The unit itself is ok, looks nice when put together, BUT it is supposed to be weatherproof!! It is NOT!! I stored my jigsaw puzzles and games in mine outside on my decking and went to get something out of it on Friday and everything is soaking wet! In fact, not just soaking wet, absolutely sodden and useless!!! I am going to photograph everything and total up costs of replacement items and send to you. This unit states it is WEATHERPROOF!! so therefore should not have let rain in??? It has been kept with doors shut and padlocked too! I await your reply.

Perfect for outdoor storage of all the smaller garden tools, buckets & hose!! Excellent quality & substantial....Brilliant value.

This is being sold with Rowlinson as a brand but they are just the suppliers and the true brand is STARPLAST and something I would never touch again with a 10 foot pole as they are complete rubbish and not weatherproof as stated. The last one I bought I had to use a whole roll of waterproof tape to stop it leaking. Nowhere in the listing does it state that it is a Starplast product and of course there is no mention of Rowlinson on the packaging. They only manufacture wooden items so anything other than wood that has their brand on it is not what it says it is so caveat emptor! Thinking they may have improved over the years as there were some positive reviews we decided to put one together anyway and failed at the first step as the pieces would not click together as one was warped and the lug would not locate. They have been returned and I will continue my search for a decent cabinet.

Its a good size, and reasonably easy to assemble, but don't put anything in this that you need to keep dry. The bottom tray ends up as small swimming pool. Will probably have to drill holes in it so it drains, or else examine where the water comes in and see about sealing it.Such a shame, as otherwise sturdy and useful.

Too heavy for me to put together but fortunately a strong man was available.Easy to assemble [ I know that because there was little swearing to accompany the project ]Nice and sturdy good quality and reasonably priced.What more could you want.

The specifications for my cabinet had changed and it actually came with handles which could take a padlock. A change for the better, I feel.Though feeling a little flimsy at one point in the construction, once the lid plugs are hammered home, yes you will need something to administer a little brute force, it is a sturdy store.Please follow instructions. Don't jump ahead in your eagerness for sturdiness and attach the lid too soon else you'll find the doors won't go on.I did manage to rectify this but it was a silly mistake on my part.This has become my dog related activities store. Food, wash stuff, harnesses, leads, toys etc and it's great to feel organised thanks to having storage.Four stars as there were some plastic caps to fill holes and I had to use a Stanley knife on some of the green ones to make them fit. Even so two popped out as they were preventing the door from closing properly.The cabinet is on decking and under shelter so not likely to get soaking wet but I did wonder if dog drying towels would get damp. They don't.P!eased with the cabinet and particularly with customer care who quickly processed my query re design change.
