Samsung Gear S3 Frontier Smart Watch - SM-R760

I puchased this after I tried the "Huawei Watch 2" and the "MyKronoz ZeTime Elite Hybrid Smartwatch"I was not happy with them so they both went back and I decided to purchase the Samsung Gear S3.I am so glad I did now as it is by far superior to the others I have tried.The only drawback on this is the battery life. It needs charging every 2 days wheras the "Kronos Ze Time Elite" lasted a full week or more.Although I have the charger at the side of my bed I take it off and put it on charge so no real problems if you do that.The face is so clear and I really do like the app. You can call your family and friends just using the watch as it has a built-in speaker and microphone, and the speaker is so clear and loud enough to hear anyone.The screen is good in the daylight and I do like the moving bezel and to be able to scroll through the apps and stuff using the bezel.I use Samsung Health app with it and is perfect.I was not keen on the rubber strap (silicone) so I purchased a metal one and looks and feels a lot better.It seems though that they do not make a proper metal strap for this phone which I thought was rather silly of Samsung. The silicone strap that comes with it is of course waterproof as is the watch but the silicone strap has curved ends where it fits to the watch and all I could get was a 22mm strap with straight ends. Looks a bit silly but I will get used to it. Heaven knows why Samsung has not made a curved ended metal strap I will never know because I know many people who have bought one of these and cannot get hold of a curved ended metal strap.So, come on Samsung sort it out!

II have been using this watch in anger for 3 weeks now now and I have to say it is a great device to have. I bought it to pair with my Samsung Galaxy S9 phone and it was seamless.I bought it to track my fitness, it does this very well, heart rate, sleep monitor and fitness tracker is great.It is very useful in meetings to just quickly check email, texts or alerts without needing to access the phone.Battery last upwards of 2 days depending on the use of the apps.Changing watch faces I love, like a new watch every week.The key thing to remember is there is not much memory on the watch so need to be careful how many apps are installed and running. The apps do have a tendency to keep running in the background so your watch will go slow and eventually require a restart. Just make sure apps are closed.I am very happy with the watch and would recommend with the Samsung phone.

I was a bit skeptical on buy a refurbished watch but for the price it was worth the riskI've already owned a Samsung S3 for a number of years and its been great but recently it brokeI bought a few cheap watches thinking they will be the same, trust me they are not in the same league as a Samsung s3.The cost of this replacement was £79 and I expected it to be in a poor state but working so I could live with that.Arrived on time if not early and I have to say the condition was excellent, you would think it was new out of the box.I would defiantly use this seller again.Battery test for 24 hours seems to be as good if not better than my old watch which was my concern as you never know what your buying5 STAR from me as I cant complain about anything

First off, this is a great watch and I really like it. Clearly you get more out of it if you have an android phone and even more if you have a Samsung phone.Pros - looks amazing, notifications works well. Quick dial is useful and the calendar seems to sync well. Nice charging stand and very powerful.Cons - lack of an obvious map to link to the GPS, why have GPS in a watch with a high resolution and no easy to use map. I would be happy to buy a map, there seems to be plenty of space on the disk, so what is going on? A simple scrollable map would make this watch perfect for my usage.Lots of the watch faces are very bland. I use “Solar System”, “Satellite World Time” and “WFP_159” which are nice but dozens of faces look almost the same. There are some editors available and this will be my next stop to design my own, but I think the technology deserves a bit better in terms of the graphic design.

The watch was as described by seller in excellent condition my partner absolutely loves it it has so many greta features that other smart watches don't have concidering buying one for myself now lol came with charger, heart monitoring works excellent aswell as other features has great selections of watch faces to choose from and the watch also has mini games on it, amazing value for the price battery life is also great and notifications come through promptly, so if your looking for a smart watch I would concider this one as an option

On initial thought this is great watch . However Battery life is 2 days max and that's not using the apps . The tap screen to show the clock is not as responsive . Vibrates for no reason at times .The sleep monitoring is rubbish . If your sat still watching tv it classes that as sleep . Heartbeat is not accurate. Neither is the steps

These were the plus points for me..- Answering a call with the watch, while your up a ladder or your phone is not to hand.- Forgot my wallet a few times, great for paying for petrol/ Shopping.- Health feature steps is excellent to get you up and working, heart monitor and sleep.- The battery life is good considering how many apps are running.- Option of different clock facesWhen I have time, will look for a better strap though, the watch has earned one.
