Some reviewers have said they think it's a bit pricy, but I think it's priced correctly.Tangram is a lot of fun and with its 4 levels will keep kids occupied for ages.Masterpiece is also lots of fun if initially a bit hard for my little girl, but now (1 week on) she is much more confident with it and is bombarding via E-mail family and friends with sketches she's made with it. Very clever App.Words App, for the moment is not a winner as my little girls first language is French and it's not always clear what the answer is, let alone then having to translate that into English.Numbers App, don't know as the OSMO I bought didn't include the pieces for that game. I thought I was buying the full kit, but obviously not.In hind sight I guess STARTER KIT was a good clue. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great educational app to get children from age 5 up playing in the physical world as well as on screen. *by L***Y on 14 October 2016* Brilliant toy! This product has 5 different games/apps associated with it, all of which get children playing in the physical world as well as using the screen. You quickly get through a lot of paper with Monster, Newton and Masterpiece so I'd recommend a white board but the games are so good for drawing skills and confidence and Newton is so clever (drawing lines etc on paper that the balls on screen bounce off).This is the best way I've seen to play Tangram for a child as they get the feedback of whether they're getting it right but still get to hold the pieces in their hands (unlike an app alone).My son is only 5 and has had so much fun with this already. We haven't played Words as much yet as he's a bit young but it'll be a great one too as his vocabulary grows. Also, fantastic that it can be played with 2 players.Really educational and great fun for all the family. The only drawback is having to get the iPad out of its case each time but it's worth it. It also took me a little while to figure out how to change the stand from a large iPad to a mini iPad stand - it is possible though so works for all sizes (iPad 2 upwards) I believe. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Brilliant idea but Tangrams causes problems. *by M***R on 27 October 2016* I was suckered into buying this Osmo by an advert I saw, and as I currently home educate our children, I thought I'd give it a go. As a concept, it's really good and, on the whole, it works well. The Tangram game is the second favourite of my 3, but this is where my review loses a star. The camera seems to have real trouble picking up where the pieces are on the table. We use as blank a space as we can, we try to lessen any glare, but it always pops up with a little screen asking us to move the pieces down. When we first got it, it worked really well, but about a month ago it started mucking about and the children find it really frustrating to be working on a shape, only find the screen constantly flashing up with a request to move the pieces down, even though they're already nearly tumbling off the table. The pieces are lovely and tactile though, not tacky plastic so they are fun to move around and arrange.The spelling game is quite enjoyable, and the camera has no trouble recognising the letters.
