Review: Improved design - Installed next to my hot tub to control the lights around it. Slightly unconventional install as I'm running a Shelly Plus i4 and Home Assistant to switch some smart bulbs and a WLED strip above the tub, but it works perfectly. The new design is significant'y better than the previous version as there's no longer any chance of stripping the screws if/when they start to rust. A quarter turn of the large plastic retainers and it's locked perfectly. My only wish would be if BG/Masterplug would make a 2 gang version of the outdoor retractive switch. Sure, you could potentially modify this one with a couple of springs but I'd prefer not to start hacking electrical devices (especially ones that are going to live outdoors).

**Q: I need an outdoor junction box for 12.9mm armoured cable.  I see that the holes on this are M20; is there space to drill out to M22?**
A: Hi, thank you for your product enquiry.The knock-outs are 20mm diameter as standard but also have provision to be drilled out to a maximum size of 25mm, so they would be suitable for your requirements.

**Q: Are there terminal/conection points inside this junction box, Could really do with a picture of what's inside really.**
A: Yes, there are terminal connectors inside the box.  They are comprised of a (loose) strip of ordinary insulated connectors. It all works, 'though I would have preferred the connectors secured to the base of the box, like a junction box.

**Q: For the junction box if a cable comes in through the back how do I make it waterproof for water running down the wall?**
A: You can buy a  Wiring Grommet Rubber  https://www.amazon.co.uk/FIXMAN-255645-Rubber-Grommets-35pce/dp/B01MA6T2HD/ref=alp_dpwidget_a_w_?th=1&psc=1&smid=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE If you search enough you can  buy individual.  I would suggest you also use a circle of sealant around the box for extra precaution.

**Q: What is the size of the recess to the lid? I want to mount a cctv camera with a 70mm dia base. The box will house the cables.**
