Got this for my gentleman friend. He makes some of the best Jerkey I've ever tasted. He was especially pleased with the metal racks.

My 15 yr old purchased this product for his dog treat business. We used it off and on for 5 months. It stopped working last night.This product is sub par. I would NOT recommend

If this stops working for you, check the fuse, which is in the cord receptaccle (fifth picture). There should be a spare in the unit, and you can pop it off with a screwdriver.This is a good unit that is otherwise 3x more expensive given the size, however the metal chassis has trouble overheating near the power, which impacts how the fuse is held inside the unit. Long term I'm planning on simply putting in a fuse in the cord and bypassing the fuse holder in the unit, since temperature seems to make these "blow." it's a 20mm fuse (last picture)First picture is a thermal showing the heat issue I am talking about here - basically it gets too hot when on max, which the cord can handle fine but fuse assembly cannot, leading to them blowing. Not ideal but easily fixed.2nd picture is of the unit when on , as well as 3rd. i have wood in there as i am using it for wood drying.Overall I will be keeping the unit, given the good price I purchased it at, however it will require a bit of time / energy to get working appropriately and safely, in my opinion.

The media could not be loaded.  Let's start with the fact that it died after 20 minutes of running! I just lost about 2 pounds of microgreens to this issue. Second to that, the label was glued on upside down (which you can clearly see in the video) at $3/oz on microgreens, a refund doesn't even begin to cover this loss!

I have used a digital thermometer to track the temperature inside and it does not keep a consistent temperature. Also the marked temperatures are not accurate either. Also you will need to purchase a clean out pan for the bottom because it doesn't come with one and the dimensions aren't the easiest to find. I would recommend if you buy this model to also purchase a digital thermometer, or just go buy a different model and save the headaches. I was going to do a video but it was going to be a 3+ minute video.

Should of used it right away because now it is too late to return. loved it then after 4 hour run time it quit working

This food dryer has a large capacity and the wire screens that hold the food will fit in a dishwasher for easy cleaning.However, anything that drip into the bottom of the dryer will run behind the screen in the back and will dry out. It is almost impossible to clean the food residue from this area.I do not recommend this product.

Love this dehydrator plain and simple. It has two fans. It is really quiet that sometimes I think it has shut off but hasn't. It has 12 racks and I bought silicone mesh mats to set on top of each rack. My only chagrin is that I wish it had a removable bottom tray for drips but so far I haven't had any. I've dried lots of Figs and Apples so far. It seems small but it does hold a fair bit. Timer works and it looks like a pretty sexy machine with all its stainless steel construction. I am personally very pleased with this purchase.

Good machine, it dehydrate properly and it is good size but the timer never worked on mine, it just stays there and not doing its timer job. I put it on 6 hours and 2 days later its still on 6 hours.
