I saw a few pics on here and the brush strokes are visible** A: With my experience with the product if you properly prep the area you won't have streaking. I pressure wash the area and allow for 24hr drying. I use a White T-shirt rag to apply and then wait about 15 mins before removing access. The prepping can be time consuming but is worth the end results. Weather in Nevada is dry and getting hot. **Q: Is this a watered down version of the real product? Some have claimed that the product on Amazon is watered down and not real** A: In the past there were some issues of guys cutting Solution Finish with water or oil. Or taking a big bottle and making their own little bottles with a bogus solution finish label. But that hasn’t been seen in a while since I’ve cracked down on it as much as I can. But I can say this if anyone buys a bootleg or Baugus bottle they can contact me and I will replace it regardless of where you got it from. **Q: Can this be used in tires also?** A: Not recommended on tires. This product is intended for plastics, vinyls and synthetic black exterior trim parts of your vehicle. Tires are made of rubber. This product has solvents and chemicals that may damage the rubber material of your tire. Plus, the rubber tire material is very absorbent, which would cause you to use a substantial amount of product for each tire, if the tire were not become damaged during the application process. **Q: what cleaner would you reccomend before applying solution finish** A: All purpose cleaner or degreaser. Then rinse and let it dry ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Ok *by on Reviewed in Italy 7 July 2025* Buono ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Easy to use with a "like new" finish. *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 17 July 2026* Easily the best black plastic reviver I've used, and I've tried many over the years.Simple to use, just clean the trim parts ( best with isopropyl but that's not essential ) and then once it's dry apply the product.You only need a tiny amount as it spreads easily with great coverage.Ensure you follow the instructions though and buff off after application otherwise the excess can become sticky.The final finish is exactly how you'd like it to be, bright satin looking and just like new plastic, not shiny like others.I can highly recommend this product.The bottle is tiny but it really goes far so don't be disappointed if the bottle is smaller than you'd imagine. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Easy to apply instant improvement *by on Reviewed in the United States 6 August 2023* After a lot of searching for a trim restorer that will actually last more than a couple weeks I finally chose solution finish! This stuff has a much more “professional” quality to it. It’s fairly simple to apply and it works immediately! 3 weeks later and it looks just as good as it did on day 1!If your trim is really faded then I’d recommend 2 applications spaced out about a day apart to give the first coat time to set fully. Stuff works so well that after showing it to my dad he asked me to send him the link so he could buy a bottle himself lol.
