Actually very realistic
It’s amazing how realistic the heart beat is when inside the puppy doll. I really like it, but my puppy would rather beat the poor thing up. With that, it looks like it’s his favorite toy. The accompanying chew toys are fine when you have a small buck like my Westie.

Tender and Well packed
The doggie plush is super cute, amazing construction and quality! The pacifier toy is great! I don't love so much the white bone because they chew on it too past. But it's GREAT!

Great travel companion!
Although I still think my dog is a baby, he is definitely out of the puppy stage but this toy was still a hit! The quality is really good, and I was a little surprised by that. The plush was easily the favorite. The chew toys are cute, mainly the ring with the pacifier. The bone shaped one was kind of generic and I didn’t really care for the color. The knubs on them are really good for a puppy that is teething, or for a dog that is maybe a little anxious or bored. I don’t think they would stand up to an aggressive chewer, but work really well for a moderate chewer. Easy to clean too, you can just run them under hot water, and if they need a little scrub, soap and water work great. The part that I really loved was the plushie! The insert that you can heat up smells really nice, it has a slightly soothing aromatherapy scent to it and my dog was super interested in it, even before I heated it up. The rechargeable heart that goes inside is actually shaped like a heart, and comes with its own charging cable. Fairly quick charge which lasts for two separate 8 hour sessions. The heart will beat for 8 hours and then shut off automatically. It easily slides into the stomach cavity by simply separating the Velcro and sliding it right in. You can either choose to use the warming sack or the heart, or both at the same time. The heart beats sufficiently strong to feel it through the padding of the plushie but not too much where it would be annoying for your dog.My pup doesn’t really get anxious but he does get bored/wants to get out of the car seat during long car rides so I thought this would be a good companion for him while on a road trip. He loved it, it didn’t necessarily help him in the car but he wouldn’t sleep without it in the hotel! 🐶

Great for puppies!
This is great for puppies that have recently come to their new home, or for any dog that is suffering from stress or separation anxiety. As pack animals, dogs are used to having other pack members with them, and puppies especially can have a rough time leaving their littermates and mothers. This stuffed animal toy is very soft and cuddle, and when you combine the heartbeat ability plus the warmth, it can make a huge difference in the puppy's comfort. My puppy seemed very calm about being in the crate alone at night, but even so she was very happy to have this toy in with her. She wraps herself around it to sleep, or puts her head on it.It's a little bit pricey but not bad. I do like that you can remove the "heart" and the microwaveable warming sack so that it can be washed.Also--it comes with some free toys, and my teething puppy loves them, they seem to feel so good on her sore teeth!

good for hospitals?
I tried this out with this new corgi puppy. It was his first time, so I don't have any other experiences with him. I can tell you his mom warned me he was a bit ornery but he's just so cute! He did give me a bit of a hard time around his neck, and I was like who are you? Why you do that? I put the little toy with the heart beating near him while I worked. It really does seem to calm them a bit. I can't figure out how to turn it off. It must turn off automatically and then come back on as you move because it did not immediately drain the battery. I have been able to use it several times on one charge. I could see this being very helpful in a recovery unit of a veterinary hospital. Animals often feel scared or panicked when they emerge from anesthesia. I think waking up to a heartbeat next to them would be helpful. I don't see this making a good toy for heavy chewers or dogs like mine that think every squeaky toy is a game to find and kill the squeaker. The herb pack and heart are only velcroed in. This would only be useful in a controlled environment. I am using it in my mobile pet grooming business to help comfort dogs during their pedis and in the drying cage. It's also very cute and adds to the appearance of a comfortable and homey environment.

New puppy kit
This is great for new puppies. It comes with two chew toys. The stuffed dog has an insert that you can put the rechargeable heart in along with a small microwaveable heat pad. This is good for small puppies that are first separated from their litter or have sleep/ crate anxiety. I would caution with destructive pups that chew as the heart has a battery in it and the heat pad has beads.

Pups love the plush. Key ring chew toy came apart.
We got the Heartbeat Puppy Plush to help our Mini Australian Shepherd Pups with separation anxiety. The pups quickly became attached to, and comforted by the warmth and heartbeat of the plush dog.I think the plush is well made, and I'm very satisfied with it. I only rated this at 3 stars because the keyring with the pacifier and rattle shaped chew toys came apart within a couple hours. I'm hoping that this is an isolated incident, but I would still be cautious with the chew toys, and only let your dogs play with them while you are watching them.
