Kind of a messy job, but the filter fit perfectly and the transmission shifted just fine before and after the service at 215K miles! I had a small maybe 1/16 gap between filter and tranny at the bolt hole that closed when I tightened the bolt down. Let me know that the o-ring was slightly compressed creating a good seal. Have multiple tools available to you can get to the pan bolts from different angles and directions. Make sure to have easy access to passenger side behind wheel, card board, wide oil pan and lots of rags. The tranny needs to be level then add fluid, start engine, add more fluid, cap, cycle gears, check fluid, repeat. There are small metal spacers to set the crush height of the gasket. The kit was short two spacers/bushings so I cleaned and re-used two of the old bushings.
