Ultra easy.It is a very firm sofa, but as our old one was a bit saggy it will take a little getting used to.It is smart looking.The only down side is the overbearing smell of mold. I do have a sensitive nose, but it is very strong. I reached out to the company and they said to give it some time and maybe use a deodorizing spray.
