It causes damages to aquatic life with long lasting effects according to the package. You don’t want this in your ground water! I hope that helps 😊 **Q: Will this product be safe to use on aluminum, aperson on u-tube said it can be used to flush a outboard boat motor, same results as saltaway?** A: Hi Dean. I wouldn't like to say. Officially, it does not state that as a use so I wouold have to er on the side of caution and say no. Jo **Q: What exactly the product is used for ?** A: Deep cleaning of toilet bowl to remove stains, lime buildup, etc. **Q: How long do I leave it in toilet and should lid be open or closed?** A: If the staining is mild just a couple of hours. More serious stains should go overnight. Leave the lid down. Fumes aren’t an issue but you don’t want anyone using the toilet or letting pets near the bowl. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Amazing Stain Remover *by D***E on 1 May 2024* This is my third time ordering Harpic Power Plus, and I will continue to order it because it's amazing.
