I have a dehumidifier that i run fairly often, and an ozone generator i run for an hour when it gets bad. but lately there have been odd smells i could not get rid of. so i tried this AC INfinityh with the 8" activate carbon filter. well, it worked very well. after half a day, i would say the smell is now 20% of what it was 6 hours ago. at the three lowest settings, you can barely hear the fan. at the highest speed setting, it DOES get pretty loud....but it is moving a ton of air at that highest setting. i have no idea how long one carbon filter will last for, and they are pretty expensive. but, so are other methods of removing the smells.
