I had an old desktop laying around, but it was so gawd awful slow that it was practically unusable. Add to that, b/c it had a home version of its operating system, it was severely limited in RAM. I was only using it to drive a desktop CNC milling machine, but even that was taxing its ability, especially when it came to downloading software or patterns. This machine to the rescue! Set up was effortless, and it's fast. Also very compact, so fits nicely next to my CNC machine. It was also very reasonable, especially when I factored in how much of my precious time I was spending trying to get my other POS working better, without spending money on an operating system upgrade (which would have cost more than this nice machine!). It's also really quiet (not that I care much since the milling machine isn't and both live in the garage) and has a textured case. I'm very happy with this purchase - and also happy that I still have hair left after spending a few weeks pulling it out in frustration over the previous machine.

The computer productivity was awesome! The only problem I had with it was that the case wasn’t that great for ventilation. I just bought a bigger case for it, hoping it won’t overheat as much anymore. The computer came SUPER dusty.Yeah, the only thing I’m complaining about here is the case. It was too small to allow ventilation and proper cooling. I recommend future buyers to buy a bigger case for it.

These Optiplexes are easy to open and upgrade, and built fairly tough for the enterprise market. I added another 16 GB of memory, a second 1 TB SSD, a graphics card, a wifi card and a blu-ray burner to mine. It came with Windows 10 on the 512 GB SSD and set up went smoothly. I configured it to run headless and added it to my server farm. The "treasure box" coating is really unique for a PC - it has a course texture that sparkles. This was a good deal and now I have a decent machine to add to my collection.

I purchased this pc one year ago and I have been very happy with the product. Until now 1 year from purchase. My pc froze and a message popped into the screen that this computer was owned by a company in India and had to be returned. I brought my pc into the geek squad to see if it could be fixed and after dropping another $100 was told no the original owner had it set up this way. I believe when you buy a refurbished pc this should be taken care of. After a year I now own a very expensive paper weight!

I bought this to replace an ancient computer that died. It works well. It is significantly faster than what it replaced, even though it is far from state of the art. But for a bit over $100 it does what I need.

I am quite pleased with this little pc, it does everything I need for a great price. This is a unbelievable valve for what you get. For it being renewed it came in without any cosmetic damage. Would highly recommend purchasing from this seller.

Computer works great now but it came registered to a specific company that required a product key to login. After figuring out how to restore the computer to factory and then change the language from spanish to english it boots up very quickly and is pretty good at classic game emulation. The only minor issue I've had with the pc is the bluetooth connection somtimes lags with a wireless mouse.
