You are supposed to add your own tile (to match the other tile in your shower). If installed correctly, the tile will not be removable once installed. **Q: Does this come with everything needed to install? The frequently bought together has a rubber seal and drain base** A: Yes, it had everything thing you need for either new or existing construction. **Q: Does this work with the Kerdi membrane system? I see Kerdi has membrane bonded to the drain, but other than that, they look the same.** A: This can work with a Kerdi membrane BUT ... Do NOT use silicone to adhere/seal to Kerdi as someone else suggested. Use the special and expensive Schluter adhesive sealant. This drain design is significantly different than Kerdi System. It will void your Kerdi warranty. This drain is designed for use with standard clamping drain. **Q: I have to buy the drain base... the black thing in te picture or is ready for install with everything ?** A: You need to buy the black gasket (2) pieces amazon suggest. I have installed 20+ and they are great. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Seems to be a great product for our bathroom remodel *by K***E on June 22, 2026* Great drain which we bought for our recent bathroom remodel! I love the look and the added hair catcher is a plus!!! Seems very durable so far! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Drain *by R***K on July 26, 2026* Beautiful ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Please read if you’re shopping around *by G***G on January 5, 2020* Excellent construction. I am a highly trained fabricator and can build pretty much anything out of any material. As I looked over the workmanship and intelligent design of this piece I have so much respect for it. The welds are outstanding, the measurements are exact and the stainless steel is of good quality. One of the most impressive and important parts of the design is how aggressive the drain trench pitch and shape is. It gets the water to the Drain line in short order. The only thing I don’t have great faith in are the plastic tray clips. I imagine the reason they are used is to prevent corrosion from dissimilar metals. I wish they would have provided 3 times the number needed as a back up for life. However, this is my only recommended change. It was easy to install and keep properly leveled during the mud bed installation. And once tiled it works perfectly. The box has recommended locations to install it and that can help a beginner conceptualize the best placement of the drain line. To Summarize, well built, high quality materials and long lasting materials. A drain is not something you want to have to replace. Worth the extra money. ## Frequently Bought Together - Neodrain 28-Inch Linear Shower Drain with Tile Insert Grate,Brushed 304 Stainless Steel Rectangle Shower Floor Drain,Linear Drain with Leveling Feet, Hair Strainer - Neodrain 2-Inch PVC Sub Drain, Shower Drain Base, No Hub Shower Drain Base with Rubber Gasket for 2 inch Linear & Square Drain Installation --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co.ke/products/46395032-28-inch-linear-shower-drain-brushed-with-tile-insert-grate](https://www.desertcart.co.ke/products/46395032-28-inch-linear-shower-drain-brushed-with-tile-insert-grate) --- *Product available on Desertcart Kenya* *Store origin: KE* *Last updated: 2026-10-16*
