Hope that helps :) **Q: What is the exact width of the sanding pad?** A: Its 4" wide. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fast paint and rust stripping abrasive pads *by J***F on May 9, 2025* These abrasive wheels strip paint very fast and will also strip heavy rust from drill stem pipe, for example. I’ve tried flap wheels of both types and twisted wire wheels that took much longer to remove the heavy rust. These wheels were great. They do wear down but work great. I was able to strip down to bare shiny metal about 4-5 ft of heavily rusted drill pipe (2 3/8”) with each pad. Does not remove metal like a grinding wheel but much more effective than the heavy twisted wire wheel. The wire wheels last much much longer and might reach into corners or depressions better.
