(6'1) Yes the rings do fall off with use albeit you can stick them back with no issues and as with any telescopic rod the segments can get stuck which can be a pain (i can see the largest sizes being less durable), however all in all this has been one of my most favorite the rods I've owned, portability is extremely comfortable, reel is flawlessly smooth (as well as good weight distribution), looks and feels amazing, telescoping handle function was absolutely necessary to have been built in. For the size I purchased, it is durable for how light the rod is. It will and has worked well for the average catch, however I don't believe the rod will sustain any monsters. Conclusion. All in all this is a good rod and all in all a great purchase. FOR ITS PRICE, absolutely EXCEPTIONAL more so given with it's warranty.
