The aux port works with the included cable. To test I plugged it into my desktop. I also plugged it into some small external speakers and the sound was even better. The sound filled the room with these. Bluetooth worked great. The remote is handy and usable. I didn't install batteries into the unit yet. Tbd how that will work! I also didn't test out the USB function. I don't really have a use for that. My only gripe concerns the radio. This morning, with the airwaves relatively clear, I was only able to tune in 2 local (in town) stations with the antennafully extendedand much fiddling. It makes picking up where you left off a bit difficult. I like how small it is and the sound is fine for listening to books. It might not be great for listening to music but I haven't tried.
