Affordable. So far working perfectly. On my old stove. Before, Sometimes smoke would bellow out around the door when lighting the stove or backdrafts. So i installed this kit this morning and let the silicone cure a bit before lighting the stove. The first hour with the door wide open than the remaining cure time with door closed(door may struggle to close at first until a new groove is worn into the gasket) once i lit the stove the gasket made a nice inlay for a good seal. Note i put the cut rope side to the hinges (as thats the most clamping force) and also 45• cut both sides of the rope so it would overlap itself like a scarf joint in trim work. Instead of using that silly tape they supply.(Picture are before new gasket was installed) note the discoloration on the pellet stove door.
