Check your pivot/latch geometry; if your original shield is CWR‑F2 spec, this replacement clicks right in. - 3RD‑GEN POLYCARBONATE — DISTORTION‑FREE OPTICS. Soman RF‑1400 / CWR‑F2 visor replacements deliver a crisp, broad field of view without wavy distortion at highway speed. UV‑filter formulation cuts glare and reduces long‑term eye fatigue on day rides. - FULL‑PERIMETER EDGE SEAL — WINDPROOF & DUSTPROOF BY DESIGN. Contour‑matched to the CWR‑F2 shell lip to close gaps that let wind scream, dust drift, and road spray sneak in. Riders report less cheek‑flap buffeting and drier vision compared to worn original seals. - IDENTICAL HINGE PIVOT POINTS — TOOL‑FREE SWAP IN MINUTES. Validated against production RF‑1400 shells (M–XL) for latch alignment, center‑lock engagement, and smooth flip‑open. Locking tab clicks shut like stock—no filing, no shims, no “almost fits.” - INDIVIDUALLY INSPECTED · 24/7 SUPPORT · SATISFACTION FIRST. Each RF‑1400 / CWR‑F2 replacement visor passes dimensional QC before packing. Defect, won’t seat, or wrong variant? Support responds within 24 hours. Even on the lower tension setting it is tighter than the standard visor on the tight tension setting. Expect faster wear on the gasket. **Q: Where is it made? I have found some of these cheap aftermarket visors to be bery brittle** A: Its not Shoei but it does fit nice. Have been using mine how for 3 months without issue. Bought this due to the Shoei brand visors being on back order with no projected get well date. I would buy again. **Q: Are these face shields pinlock ready?** A: Yes. Yes it is. Ready. **Q: Would this fit an RX-1400 shoei helmet?** A: Yes, it fits the Shoei RF-1400. The only issue is that the Shoei pinlock insert will not fit. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good Value *by on Reviewed in the United States September 6, 2026* Fits, opens, and closes like the original clear shield that came with my RF-1400. I don’t hear any air leaks. It darkens nicely in bright light and returns to clear in the dark. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great shield replacement option *by on Reviewed in the United States October 17, 2026* Fit is just like oem and great when I don’t want to always have clear glasses on hand or if the weather is shifting quickly. I also don’t like a complete ‘fishbowl’ look. Might as well buy 2 more cause it’s like getting 3 for 1 special compared to shoei prices. No issues with swapping shields frequently. Seems to be similarly scratch resistant like oem.I typically hold out until dangerous levels of visible damage due to shoei prices, but I will be hostage no more to damaged windscreens!Only downside is if you wait till the absolute last minute like i did, only certain options were on prime, but I got lucky. Happy riding. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ It does do the job but don’t expect same results as with the oem due to price *by on Reviewed in the United States April 25, 2026* It does get dark but not as dark as oem. Difference would be, on oem i would not be able to see my eyes from my 360 cam on a sunny day. With this i could still see them. It fits my shoei rf1400 just fine. Even oem pin lock fits. For the price of $88 vs oem $230 i can’t really complain too much --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co.ke/products/455543267-soman-rf-1400-visor-replacement-cwr-f2-face-shield-fits](https://www.desertcart.co.ke/products/455543267-soman-rf-1400-visor-replacement-cwr-f2-face-shield-fits) --- *Product available on Desertcart Kenya* *Store origin: KE* *Last updated: 2026-10-27*
