Cable Railing - a Contemporary Look. AGS Adjustable Swageless Fittings allow through-hole installation of cables. The cable is simply pushed into the fitting as it protrudes through the post. To remove the cable use the Swageless Release Key (B06Y4NWLCJ). Swageless Fittings can be combined with several other AGS non-tensioning fittings to efficiently complete a DIY cable railing installation.

These fittings are made of Marine Grade A316 Stainless Steel and provide superior corrosion resistance.

Swageless Fittings are usually mounted in a through-hole into a metal post (up to 2-1/2" thick). AGS recommends a maximum of 3" spacing for cable runs. For 36" high railing that typically works out to 11 cable runs, for 42" high railing that is typically 13 cable runs. Check with your local building codes.

Adjustable Swageless Fittings DO provide tension on the cable and can be used in combination with one of the following to complete the cable run: Swageless Fittings (B06Y4KMZ63), Deck Toggle (B00LZZC65Q), Cable Fitting (B00LZZBO8Q, B00LZZBIFA or B00LZZBRCY), Lag Terminal (B00LZZC0Y8), Masonry Terminal (B06Y4HCZ81) or Barrel Nut Fitting.

AGS recommends using AGS "bypass" type Cable Cutters (B00LZZCDJK, B00LZZCC1O) and AGS Cable Crimpers (B00LZZBACG, B00LZZCC1O) for best result.
