Review: Great gyroscope for the price - I recently ordered a "precision" gyroscope costing three times as much and was disappointed in the accuracy and duration of the spin. This inexpensive model performs very well for the price with a very long, balanced spin. I would have liked a normal stand and extra winding string but those are quibbles. Buy this one - you won't be disappointed. To be fair, the plastic construction is a concern, and I have not used it long enough to evaluate that issue, but it seems to be solidly constructed. It also is made in China like everything else, but the English/German distributors apparently demand some reasonable level of quality control. I will be buying more for the other kids in my life.

I recently ordered a "precision" gyroscope costing three times as much and was disappointed in the accuracy and duration of the spin. This inexpensive model performs very well for the price with a very long, balanced spin. I would have liked a normal stand and extra winding string but those are quibbles. Buy this one - you won't be disappointed. To be fair, the plastic construction is a concern, and I have not used it long enough to evaluate that issue, but it seems to be solidly constructed. It also is made in China like everything else, but the English/German distributors apparently demand some reasonable level of quality control. I will be buying more for the other kids in my life.
