I installed the new flasher today and it resolved the issue. Easy to install by simply removing the old flasher and plugging in the new one. To install, remove the driver's side bottom panel, locate the old flasher unit on the left side of the steering column, remove the old flasher by sliding it off the mount, remove the old flasher with adapter from the white wire connector, install the new flasher directly to the wire connector (without the adapter), reattach the flasher to the mount. Finally, reinstall the bottom panel. That's it! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ No Flash *by J***. on Reviewed in the United States πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ on September 7, 2014* It's funny/odd my 1972 V W Beetle had the original Flasher go bad last month so I bought this replacement. My turn signals would flash faster and faster until they where just lit up with no flash. This is also true of my Hazard Flashers, but they would also shut off or down. The Hazard mode works off of this same relay. I have a nice slow to medium speed turn signal now or what seems to be normal speed compared to my other vehicles and my Emergency/Hazard don't shut off or shut down. I tested them for 5 minutes. Before they would shut down and stop working after 5 seconds. . I am very happy with this replacement relay and if it lasts half the time the original did that will be a plus.Thank you Cec Industries for making this product available.
