Review: So Happy to have this Wonderful Printer - Used the PIXMA MG2522 for eight years and loved it. Updated to the 2525 version and love it too. What made it extremely important was the in between I tried another Canon that was impossible to download on Windows 11. 11 kept changing the download to another verison of a Canon printer as I never could find the drop down list and had to do it manually. Help from Cox Complete Care and two tech from Canon failed. Gave up and donated it to a charity and finally the 2525 was in stock. It comes with a disc, no download needed, and Windows 11 behaved perfectly! I won! Would love to bill Microsoft for my time spent on this issue.
Review: Doesn’t take up much space - For a Printer this little sucker is great . Does just about everything a bigger one does but doesn’t need much space to do it in . Prints wireless, very quiet, can run around 100 sheets loaded and came with two ink cartridges. Was very easy to set up and loading those cartridges ( black and color) was a snap . Was really surprised at the fair $$ considering how well it is made . No problem with paper jaming either like those big bulky ones . Great purchase and product . I’m a happy camper , thank you very much !!

**Q: please manufacturer? confused by ink answers for this printer.  does it come with full cartridges or starters?**

**Q: Can i copy a document using the "power cord" (no usb) as with an old school copier?**
A: Hi!  If you don't have a computer hooked up to your PIXMA MG2525, you can still use it as a standalone copier.  We hope this helps!

**Q: What cartridges are needed and where can I buy them?**
A: The printer takes Canon  Black PG-243 Fine Cartridge and Color CL-244 Fine Cartridge. You can get both the Black and Color in one package on Amazon.  I bought the Canon PG-243/ CL-244 Ink Multi pack, Compatible to TR4520, MX492, MG2520, MG2922, TS302 and TS202 Printers on Amazon for $26. I hope this is helpful.

**Q: Does this printer handle 110 lb cardstock? It probably does not per Canon specs, but wondering if someone has used it successfully.**
A: It handles 65 lb cardstock quite well. It also handles photo paper. I've never tried a heavier weight of cardstock. Otherwise, I am very satisfied with this printer.

For a Printer this little sucker is great . Does just about everything a bigger one does but doesn’t need much space to do it in . Prints wireless, very quiet, can run around 100 sheets loaded and came with two ink cartridges. Was very easy to set up and loading those cartridges ( black and color) was a snap . Was really surprised at the fair $$ considering how well it is made . No problem with paper jaming either like those big bulky ones . Great purchase and product . ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good Printer But Loud and Slow

I received my Canon Pixima MG2525 printer a few days ago. It's surprisingly light weight and easy to take out of the box. The box indicates that it does not include the USB cord, but disregard this as it is included in the box along with the power cord and two ink cartridges - black and color. Set up was not easy for me, it took about an hour. I found the included written instructions to be sparse. More detail would have been nice. I found a really great setup video for this printer on YouTube. It was much more helpful than the included directions. Like most people, I'm a visual learner so seeing the setup through a video was much more helpful to me than the written instructions. Please note that the orange error light will blink until you snap in the ink cartridges. The written instructions don't say this nor does the setup video. I thought I had done something wrong, until I added the ink cartridges and the orange light went out. This model prints well, but be forewarned that it's slow and loud. For home use it's great as my printing needs are minimal. If you need to print a lot daily, the noise and slowness will probably drive you crazy. I have yet to use the scanning feature, so I can't comment upon that. Overall, it's a decent, cost effective printer.
