Struggling.
I dont know what to say about these. Nothing positive to be fair.Family of 4. All had a go. We opened one pack to try. They look a little withered and almost used in the box. There is a lot of packaging with them, they are brittle, so they need a plastic and a cardboard insert. Which seems a bit excessive. The absolute worst thing about these is the flavour.Dark chocolate has been used to maintain the status of a vegan snack. To be honest, those who choose the vegan path are probably used to this sort of thing. But myself. I am not. I think they taste very bizarre. It doesn't taste like carrot, or chocolate or anything that can be described. Completely unique to me.We shared one stick of these and the other 2 got thrown in the bin.I will donate these to the local foodbank which I happen to have founded, so that is nice. But I won't be eating any more.So summarise.Feels like a crunchie, had one for lunchie, we can't munchie.I am sorry. But these are not for anyone in this household. Greenface smiley.

They have some snap, but quite odd
Past experience with vegan snacks like this has led me to be wary of the chocolate component but I'm pleased to say that the dark chocolate that coats these finger snacks is actually really good. The 'biscuit' part of them is slightly odder. The main veggie ingredient is carrot, with some sweet potato powder in there too. It's not that they don't contain flour (that's still the main ingredient) but they certainly don't taste or feel like a biscuit. They have a snap and crunch like something that has been reconstituted and I'm not sure I'll be returning for more after this box but if you're looking for a lower calorie snack then these might be an option. That said, a 2 finger Kitkat has the same amount of calories as these. Maybe give yourself a break if dairy is still an option.

Tasty, but not much in a pack
These Rootles Snacks are tasty, and not too sweet, and make for an enjoyable snack, although not so satisfying simply because there is not much of them, the three bars in the packet are very light and slender. What seems like a large package does not in reality hold very much, see photo.

Dark chocolate carrot and sweet potato biscuits
Rootles Vegetable Biscuit with Dark Chocolate ingredients:Wheat flour (43%), dark chocolate (25%) (sugar, cocoa butter, cocoa mass, cocoa powder, emulsifier (sunflower lecithin)), carrot puree (27%) (carrot puree, lemon juice), butter, sugar, sweet potato powder (7%), carrot powder (2%), salt, sodium bicarbonate.these snacks are manufactured in North Macedonia. The dark chocolate coating enhances the savoury notes through adding a touch of bitterness to the flavour. It adds a touch of creaminess but not much in the way of flavour nor sweetness. While it doesn't add much, it doesn't detract either. If anything, it perhaps makes the snack feel a little more indulgent.
