When pressure is applied to outside of stirrup like in a fall the side of the stirrup will open all the way up allowing the foot to be released. No way to get hung up in these stirrups, the easy way to get out of a bad situation. Adult size. 3" neck.

**Q: is this for a pair?**
A: Yes it’s for a pair

**Q: Do these work? The clasp will open with pressure? Or does it open to easily?**
A: The clasp will open to the outside when a significant amount of pressure is applied (such as a fall).  I have been using them for a couple of months and they have not opened up with arena or trail riding.

**Q: uhhhh which size is the adult???? it just says 2 1/2 in  3 in. and 3- inch when selecting a size.............**
A: Adult size (5" x 5" inside measurement, 7" outside height, 3 1/2" x 1 1/4" tread, .9 lbs.)Youth size (4 3/4" x 4 1/4" inside measurement, 6 1/8" outside height, 3" x 1 1/4" tread, .7 lbs.) Choose 2 1/2" or 3" Neck size.

**Q: Is 2 1/2 in adult size**
A: The youth size 2 1/2" should fit a small lady rider.  I ride in US size 7 Justin boots, and the stirrups work well for me.

The instructions are easy and I was able to replace my stirrups with these in a couple minutes.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Beware 3" size isn't 3"

I like the quality and feel of these stirrups, but I took the description at its word and should not have. My saddle has thick heavy stirrup leathers, a full 3" wide and they do not fit. They absolutely will not bend to fit into that space and will not hang correctly. The stirrups will barely accommodate a 2.75" leather. I use them on another saddle with 2 3/8" leathers and they fit fine. Would be perfect on 2.5" leathers.
