I currently use it on a Windows 10 PC. Be aware it will not work for scrolling and such out of the box. I installed software from Github to enable scrolling and Windows gestures (I.e. 3 fingers down to show desktop) **Q: Is this item the apple magic trackpad 2?** A: This is a newer version and the Magic Trackpad 2 is discontinued. The current version has more rounded corners than Gen 2 and comes with a USB-C to Lightning cable instead of USB-A. **Q: Anyone used a stylus with this pad? If so which one?** A: You can use stylus('s) that can operate regular touchscreen devices (IE They mimic your fingers conductivity) But as for apple pens, Wacom pens, or sother pecialized styluses I would say no or yes but it removes a lot of the tilt/pressure sensitivities that people look for in those styluses **Q: Is this trackpad clickable like a macbook trackpad? does anyone know what bluetooth version it is because apple doesn’t post that info?** A: It has a haptic response when you click it. There actually isn’t any physical(moving parts) click to it. The response feels like it actually moves. It’s a great product and It’s pretty awesome. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Premium Trackpad That Just Works - Classic Apple Quality *by T***M on March 1, 2026* This Magic Trackpad is great - like any other Apple product, it just works seamlessly. The tracking is extremely accurate, and scrolling, zooming, and switching between apps are all fluid and responsive. Highly recommended. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Must-Have for Mac Users *by H***H on July 19, 2025* If you own a Mac, the Apple Magic Trackpad truly feels like a natural extension of your system. The multi-touch surface is incredibly responsive, and the gestures are smooth and intuitive — making navigation, switching between apps, and managing multitasking an absolute breeze. I primarily use mine while working from home, and it’s been a game-changer for productivity. The wireless connection is flawless, the battery life is excellent, and it charges quickly with the included USB-C to Lightning cable. I also love the larger surface area compared to a MacBook’s built-in trackpad — it gives me plenty of space without feeling bulky. The black finish looks modern and professional, and pairs nicely with other Apple accessories. It’s also much more ergonomic for long work sessions than using a traditional mouse, especially if you’re already used to Mac gestures. It’s not cheap, but worth every dollar for the quality, design, and integration with macOS. If you’re a Mac user — especially someone working remotely or doing creative work — this is an upgrade that genuinely improves the experience. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co.ke/products/417247391-apple-magic-trackpad-black-multi-touch-surface](https://www.desertcart.co.ke/products/417247391-apple-magic-trackpad-black-multi-touch-surface) --- *Product available on Desertcart Kenya* *Store origin: KE* *Last updated: 2026-10-06*
