These bad boys work great, Ive been using them for over a month now for work and there have been no issues. So far they have been compatible with all my Makita cordless tools as well. The only caveat I would say about these batteries is that they can sometimes be difficult to remove from certain tools. Not enough to keep me from buying more of these though. Definitely recommend to tradesmen that dont want to break the bank with the Makita 6.0 batteries.

Like pover and longevity on a single charge. Perfect fit for my old Makita.One battery out of two stopped charging after second charge. I've contacted the company.After a few photos requested and explanation of the issue, they have replaced the unit.Excellent costumer service. They really trying to make it work for you.All companies are looking good until they have to resolve the issue with the product. The real good ones will work to resolve any issues.I recommend the product and the company.Will definitely use them again.

If you leave these batteries in the makita OEM charger, at some point they will discharge completely and brick/fail/go black. You can bring them back to life by jumping them to another battery momentarily, then drop them into the charger to recharge...and this time, remove it within a few hours of when it is charged.Razor blades work well to access the terminals without distortion. I have experienced this 4 times now and I'm certain that because of this I'll end up killing the batteries completely before their time. Other than that, they work very well and the capacity is great, but this bleed-down bricking issue is terrible; bad design. Both batteries do this. I marked them; I know for sure it's not just one bad battery. The charger works fine with Makita brand batteries left in the charger...no problems.

I have a lot of makita cordless tools. I normally buy makita batteries but someone borrowed all of mine so I ordered these to try. I’m going to have to buy more makita…..

After just one day on the Makita charger, the red light started flashing and the battery was dead.Update: The seller shipped two new batteries to me at no cost and they seem to both work as advertised.

I purchased this because my 12 year old LXT batteries (without the LED charge indicators) were not lasting long in my non-Star Makita bandsaw. I went through 3 "fully" charged Makita batteries just to cut a small piece of wood. I have some new LXT batteries with the LEDs but for some reason they don't fit my bandsaw.I purchased this brand because another reviewer mentioned that it fit his non-star Makita tools.This fits both my non-star and star tools and charges full in a Makita DC18RE charger.Having the numeric LED charge indicator is better than the LED charge bars which lets me know how much charge is left.Update 22 May 2022: Discovered my old circular saw does not accept the newer Makita batteries whereas the DKSIDKN battery fits perfectly.

I'm happy with these. I charged them and then "sent them out" to do what my handful of Makita products need to do on a little construction project. They work; their charges are holding up well. They cost considerably less than Makita's chargers but seem to be every bit as good.I'm happy with this purchase. Very happy.
