So far the BEST quality tissue adhesive I have ever used, and I have tried all the other brands. Always hold the tissue exactly where you want it to end up FIRST, blot the tissue DRY, then quickly wick in the SMALLEST amount of glue to flood the contact surface(s). Normally, this is completely painless, and the adhesion is full, and excellent after just 5 - 10 seconds. However, CA glues can get very HOT, very QUICKLY while curing - IF you allow a large droplet of wet glue to accumulate anywhere on the tissue, or the tissue is too MOIST anywhere. So if your patient *yelps* during or shortly after the procedure, don't blame the glue, blame you. The cured glue joint is strong, but not very waterproof if completely submerged in water for any length of time, so advise patients to avoid swimming, dishwashing, or deep-sea diving for a few days until the wound is naturally well knitted. Also works a treat on paper cuts, hangnails, blisters, and other minor, but annoyingly painful wounds. After a bottle is opened, always clear out the nozzle after every use and store the opened bottle FULLY UPRIGHT to prevent premature hardening of the remaining contents. Do NOT blow into the tip to clear it of glue, because the moisture from your breath will cause the rest of the glue to become a worthless chunk of blue plastic overnight. Worst case, you could glue your lips together a bit if you touch them to the nozzle while blowing. Don't ask me how I know either of those things, I just do, ok? If stored correctly, upright, an opened bottle can be re-used for weeks, until it is gone. Except for one (1) last drop of glue that won't come out the nozzle no matter how you hold, shake, or tilt the bottle. Just let it go, and be happy.
